CNN reported satellite imagery showing Iran may be rebuilding suspected nuclear and missile-related facilities, with new activity at multiple sites in late June–early July. Images indicate repair and reconstruction at a facility called Taleghan‑2 at the Parchin military base — which some experts link to storage of nuclear explosive material — including restoration of craters from prior U.S./Israeli strikes. Imagery of a suspected underground site named Gaoshan shows vehicle movement into tunnels during the period the U.S.-Iran memorandum of understanding signed June 17 was in effect, raising questions whether Iran breached the late‑June MoU; the activity predates U.S. President Trump’s decision to terminate the MoU and order new strikes.

Iran parliamentary speaker Ghalibaf said Iran has never sought war but will not yield to external pressure. He said the U.S., Israel and NATO had expected to force Iran to surrender within days before recent hostilities, but failed. Ghalibaf said the U.S. sought a ceasefire under economic, political and public pressure and that Iran does not trust the U.S.; only by preparing for war can it earn the right to negotiate. He warned that if the U.S. "breaches the memorandum of understanding between the sides," Iran will prepare for a "comprehensive defense" and defend its national interests. He added that although the international community wants an end to the war, the conflict will not end with Iran’s surrender.
