At a July 7 briefing, CHINA Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning called on the United States to fully lift its illegal unilateral sanctions on Venezuela, saying such measures impede post-quake rescue, humanitarian funding, international financial transfers and imports of essentials.
