June 24, Dalian — CHINA'S LI said innovation cooperation is essential to address
global growth shortfalls, noting rapid technological progress, rising
unpredictability, deeper innovation linkages and growing barriers. He called for
deeper connectivity and cooperation to preserve an open world and economy
stable, smooth global supply chains. Li urged adherence to technology-for-good
principles and stronger global governance and regulatory frameworks for AI and
related fields to improve regulatory effectiveness and joint oversight. He urged
firms to lead on innovation and cooperation, and said China will further expand
market access, continue building a top-tier business environment and welcomes
foreign investment to share China’s development opportunities.
