The move shifts responsibility from Guy Rosen and signals a strategic pivot
toward integrating AI across operations to compete with leaner AI-focused
startups. Bosworth said internal pilots and rapid adoption of AI tools have
built “real momentum,” positioning Meta for its next phase, while his broader
role continues to include oversight of metaverse-related technologies.
