Iran Football Federation said it will lodge a formal complaint with FIFA after US organisers rejected its requests to allow the team to arrive two days before World Cup matches in the United States. The federation said the two-day pre-match arrival — intended for acclimatisation, final training and recovery — was denied before the New Zealand match and again ahead of its Los Angeles midday kickoff against Belgium, which it says impeded tactical preparation.
