Sept. 23 — The Beijing municipal party committee standing committee called for
technology‑driven manufacturing growth, prioritizing original innovation and R&D
on key core technologies and faster commercialization of results. It ordered
implementation of an AI+ action to speed digital transformation in manufacturing
and deeper integration of advanced manufacturing with modern services, including
expansion of servitized manufacturing, flexible customization and
product‑service business models. The committee directed accelerated innovation
and deployment of green manufacturing equipment to deliver energy savings,
carbon reduction and pollution cuts in key manufacturing areas; support for
leading manufacturers to act as supply‑chain anchors and for the cultivation of
unicorns and specialized 'little‑giant' firms; faster development of
Zhongguancun into a world‑leading tech park and coordinated 'three cities and
one district' development; and strengthened financial‑service and
intellectual‑property policy mechanisms to improve the ecosystem for advanced
manufacturing.
