Axios reported White House Deputy Chief of Staff Richard Walters will leave the
Trump administration. His exit is the first senior departure expected as
incoming Chief of Staff Stephen Miller prepares a personnel reshuffle. Walters,
a close aide to outgoing Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, submitted his resignation
on Friday and will leave by mutual agreement, people familiar with the matter
said, signaling a West Wing power handover as Miller’s team moves into senior
roles.
