Russian Defence Ministry said early on Nov. 7 forces used land-based precision weapons and attack drones in large-scale strikes on Kyiv, Kyiv region and other areas, targeting military-industrial, energy and transport infrastructure. The ministry said strikes hit Kyiv’s North Bridge — used to transfer weapons and military equipment — a missile-production facility, a thermal power plant, several substations (including one supporting a defence manufacturer) and a dry-cargo ship southeast of Odesa carrying military and dual-use cargo. Russia also said its air defenses intercepted and destroyed 411 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones overnight. Kyiv mayor Klitschko said the city’s energy supply is extremely severe, with heating and water affected and the North Bridge closed; Ukrainian sources reported five people wounded.
