The Financial Times reports Oracle has promised investors it will continue payments even if a large New Mexico data center fails to secure power before going live. Insiders say Oracle has issued a force majeure notice to the project's developer, a unit of Blue Owl Capital, over power-supply issues. The project has faced permitting delays amid local opposition. Under contract terms, if the first phase is not ready by a 1H 2027 deadline Oracle must cover a holding-cost payment in lieu of rent for up to three years; one insider said power-delivery risk is borne by Oracle, not investors.

Russian authorities said on the 25th a vessel caught fire off the southern coast of the Kamchatka Peninsula. A passing ship rescued 25 crew from life rafts; four crew remain missing. Local emergency services have deployed three vessels for ongoing search and rescue.
