Qatar's foreign ministry strongly condemned Houthi militants' ballistic missile strikes on the Saudi cities of Taif and Yanbu.

President Macron said France will send military forces, radar and defensive systems to the Saudi Red Sea port of Yanbu to protect local oil facilities, and that the deployment will not involve participation in combat. Saudi authorities earlier said missiles fired by Houthi militants toward Yanbu and Taif were intercepted. Macron said the move aims to safeguard energy infrastructure and prevent further disruption to energy markets.
