Documents reviewed by the Wall Street Journal show Blue Origin is running its first external funding round, has raised roughly $10 bln and is valued at about $140 bln. The company employs ~15,000 and aims to ramp commercial revenue to ~$800 mln in 2025, ~$1.4 bln in 2026 and more than $30 bln by 2030. Management identifies rocket launches, satellite communications and AI-enabled satellite services as the main growth drivers, and cites the heavy reusable New Glenn rocket as central to narrowing the gap with SpaceX.
