On the 24th in New York during the 81st UN General Assembly, Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz met Iranian President Pezeshkian. They reaffirmed long-standing bilateral ties and agreed to deepen cooperation and regular consultations. Shehbaz expressed concern about ongoing regional conflicts, urged restraint, de-escalation and sustained diplomatic engagement, and called for implementation of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, saying Pakistan will play a constructive role. Pezeshkian welcomed Pakistan's diplomatic efforts and sought expanded cooperation; both sides agreed to strengthen coordination to promote regional peace, security and prosperity.

Sept. 24 — China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism said it will coordinate with other agencies to intensify safety oversight and routine risk inspections across the tourism sector, focusing on peak periods (holidays, flood season, summer) and high-risk areas including tourism transport, fire safety and special equipment. The ministry said it will strengthen safety management and emergency response to protect tourists’ life and property, and will continue a nationwide tourism market-order campaign with severe enforcement against forced shopping and illegal online solicitation.
