Swedish krona rose after the Riksbank left the policy rate unchanged at 1.75% but signalled future tightening should exceed prior expectations. The bank said that if the outlook for inf and economic activity remains unchanged, it expects to start raising rates this year. It flagged stronger economic activity and a persistent supply shock from the Middle East, and said rising oil prices and a weaker krona have increased the risk that inf will exceed earlier projections.
