Eurozone bonds sold off on Thursday, pushing yields to multi-year highs as
rising oil and stronger economic data boosted market bets on further ECB
tightening. Germany's 10-year Bund yield rose 3 bps to 3.575%, its highest in
more than 17 years. Deutsche Bank rates strategist Hauke Siemssen said the oil
rebound was the primary driver. Brent crude climbed above $106/bbl, its highest
in over a week, after scant progress in US‑Iran diplomatic talks aimed at ending
the conflict.
