China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has opened public consultation on two recommended national standards, including Road Vehicle Software Upgrade Engineering, soliciting comments ahead of submission for approval.

On Sept. 22, Qianyi Aerospace held a project review for the SY (Shiye)-300FF, a 300‑ton‑class LOx‑methane full‑flow staged‑combustion rocket engine. A panel of domestic liquid‑rocket experts vetted the engine’s technical specifications, development schedule, feasibility, manpower and equipment plans, and core technologies, and agreed to approve the project to proceed to follow‑on development.

At the recent 11th (Autumn) Central SOE Investment and Development Conference, NPC Standing Committee member and vice chair of the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee Weng Jieming proposed creating technology-focused state capital management companies to monetize high-quality, stable-cash-flow equity held by SOE investors. Dividend income from existing equity holdings would be used to provide funding for early-stage, high-risk investment in emerging industries.
