SoftBank-backed used-car marketplace Carro is considering a dual listing on Nasdaq and the Singapore Exchange’s Global Board and could be the first to use Singapore’s new mechanism for a Singapore–Nasdaq dual listing. Insiders say Carro has confidentially filed U.S. IPO paperwork and recently submitted documents for a Singapore listing. The company may seek about $400–500m and is targeting a dual listing later this year or in 1H next year; discussions are ongoing and plans may change. Carro could abandon a Singapore leg depending on investor demand. A company spokesperson said it periodically assesses financing needs and opportunities and will disclose at the appropriate time.
