Sept. 22, Guangzhou — At a Greater Bay Area hydrogen pilot city‑cluster meeting, authorities set targets to deploy 16,000 hydrogen fuel‑cell vehicles during the pilot and build 100 new hydrogen refueling stations. Guangzhou launched an initiative urging Guangdong, Fujian, Hunan and other provinces in the cluster to study policies to exempt qualifying hydrogen vehicles from highway tolls and to explore cross‑province mutual recognition of toll discounts across five provinces. The proposal links station siting to the national zero‑carbon road transport corridor plan and aims to reduce end‑user hydrogen costs gradually to below 25 yuan/kg.

Sept. 23 — Zhang Xue Locomotive said it has identified false recruitment information circulating via unofficial channels. The company said only certain key R&D positions are handled by retained headhunters, who will not charge applicants; all other roles are filled by the company directly. Zhang Xue said it has not authorized any third party or individual to recruit on its behalf under labels such as 'labor dispatch', 'internal referral' or 'paid referral'.
