Trump said he faces a major decision on Iran and expects a U.S.-Iran agreement after the midterm elections, adding Iran is waiting for U.S. midterm results but he will not factor elections into Iran policy. He said the U.S. is expanding military sustainment capacity, that ammunition stockpiles far exceed expected usage, and that large ammunition factories will be opened, with 18 set to become operational. Major changes could occur quickly, he added. On energy, Trump said oil flows are at their highest levels since the conflict began and warned that if the Iran conflict ends, oil prices would fall sharply, potentially below pre-conflict levels.
