CATL’s new cell factory in Debrecen, Hungary, began trial production on Sept 22
after completing required pre-conditions. The trial run will be used to debug,
optimize and validate equipment and manufacturing processes ahead of formal mass
production. During the trial period the Debrecen plant will maintain close
coordination with the Hungarian government and regulators and uphold high
standards for environmental protection and employee health and safety.
