The CCP Central Committee appointed Li Lecheng as Anhui provincial committee member, standing committee member and party secretary; Liang Yanshun was removed from those Anhui posts. Zhou Zuyi was appointed Henan provincial committee member, standing committee member and party secretary and no longer holds the Fujian party secretary post. Liu Ning was removed as Henan party secretary and from the Henan standing committee. Zhao Long was named Fujian party secretary.

Baotou Steel Co., Ltd. secured a trial order to supply hot‑rolled feedstock for Hi‑B oriented (grain‑oriented) silicon steel after technical discussions. The order puts Baotou into the supply chain of a domestic high‑end electromagnetic‑materials maker and represents a breakthrough in its high‑end oriented silicon‑steel raw‑material supply.
