TASS, citing an official, said senior Trump adviser Jared Kushner and a US
Middle East envoy may visit Kyiv and Moscow within seven to ten days, signaling
a potential renewed US push to mediate Russia-Ukraine talks. The pair have
visited Moscow multiple times and met President Putin and other senior Russian
officials but have not been to Kyiv. The report said US attention had shifted to
the Middle East earlier this year; the last US–Russia–Ukraine trilateral talks
were held in Geneva in mid-February and a planned follow-up later that month was
postponed after a US strike on Iran, with Ukrainian President ZELENSKIY accusing
Moscow of seeking to delay talks. The White House did not immediately respond to
a request for comment.
