Yemen's government armed forces said Houthi forces again used ballistic missiles to strike Marib city, surrounding areas and refugee camps.

Pentagon Deputy Director for the Defense Innovation Unit Jared Conley said the U.S. military has sufficient ammunition to meet operational needs in a conflict with Iran, saying “we have enough ammunition to complete current missions” and that “the Defense Department has all necessary resources to wage war.” He addressed earlier reports that key air-defence munitions, including ballistic missile interceptors, had been drawn down.

Turkish foreign minister Fidan said the recently signed Mecca Joint Defense Agreement between Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan aims to boost regional autonomy and should be expanded, with additional countries expressing interest and Egypt likely to join in the next phase, he told Anadolu on the 8th. He said the pact’s mutual-defense clause is, in technical terms, equivalent to NATO’s collective-defense clause, but its practical application will depend on discussions and decisions by the relevant committee.
