On the morning of July 11 the Office of the National Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters and the Ministry of Emergency Management convened joint meetings with the China Meteorological Administration, Ministry of Water Resources, Ministry of Natural Resources, Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Ministry of Transport to assess typhoon and heavy-rain trends and deploy flood/typhoon measures in key areas. The office maintained a level-2 emergency response for Zhejiang and Fujian and activated level-4 responses for Shanghai, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Anhui and Sichuan, and dispatched an additional working group to Anhui to assist and guide operations.
