The Pentagon on July 10 released 40 UFO-related records — the fourth batch since
May at President Trump’s request — including 14 documents, 19 videos, four audio
recordings and three images from multiple U.S. agencies (Pentagon, NASA, CIA,
FBI, Energy Department). About half the records are from after 2010; several
videos were captured by U.S. military infrared sensors. A 32-second 2020 clip
provided by U.S. Northern Command, accompanied by a heavily redacted report,
shows an object a Navy weapons-systems operator described as dark brown, roughly
12–15 feet (3.7–4.6 m) tall, and “like a somewhat deformed atmospheric balloon”;
the operator said they could not confirm its nature and returned to the ship and
landed safely.
