The Database Development Research Report (2026) projects China’s database market will reach 979.74 yuan-100m units (97.97 bln yuan) by 2028, implying a 13.06% CAGR. The report says the 2025 global database market was $131.6 bln; China’s market stood at $9.49 bln, or 7.2% of the global total. As of June 2026, global counts of open‑source and closed‑source commercial database products were roughly equal; Chinese commercial database products account for more than 70% of the domestic market, while open‑source database share has been rising.

During a two-day stop in Turkey, Trump threatened to cut trade ties with NATO member Spain over defense spending and revived a dispute with Denmark on Greenland.
