AI training startup Mercor is reportedly discussing a $20 billion valuation.

Sungrow unveiled the EnerNeo solid-state transformer for AI data centers with input 10–13.8 kV AC (compatible with major Asian and North American grids) and 800 V DC output. Sungrow signed strategic cooperation and framework procurement agreements with Dongyangguang and Zhonglian Data. Planned volumes: 30 MW with Dongyangguang to be delivered in batches 2026–2027, with parties to explore industrial applications beyond data centers; 100 MW with Zhonglian Data, with a demo project due end‑2026 and phased deliveries in 2027–2028 based on end‑customer demand. Sungrow said it is also in active talks with multiple other customers.

At the morning open, China's front-month futures were mostly higher. Fuel oil, low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) and SC crude oil rose more than 5%; methanol gained over 3%; benzene, asphalt, propylene and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) were up around 3%. On the downside, container freight on the Europe route fell over 4%, Shanghai silver dropped nearly 4%; platinum, palladium and polysilicon declined more than 2%; Shanghai gold, Shanghai tin and stainless steel (SS) were down over 1%.
