Sanya Maritime Safety Administration issued a navigation advisory on July 8 for
rocket recovery operations, preliminarily locking the launch window for the Long
March 10B. Wenchang observation center said on July 9 the rocket is expected to
launch on July 10. The dedicated recovery vessel Navigator has sailed to the
designated operating area and is standing by. The flight will attempt to
validate a sea-net recovery system for a rocket first stage; if successful,
China would become the second country to master heavy‑lift reusable rocket
capability.
