US MBA mortgage refinance index fell to 794.4 in the week ended July 3 from 828.7 the previous week.

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism on July 8 launched the 2026 national summer culture and tourism consumption season in Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai. Running from early July through end‑August, the campaign will deliver over 30,000 cultural and tourism events and more than 450 mln yuan in consumption vouchers and subsidies to expand supply of cultural‑tourism products across summer cooling, coastal resorts, night‑time economy, cruises/yachts, family attractions, study tours, intangible‑heritage food and museum visits. The ministry said it will coordinate with relevant agencies to roll out measures covering sightseeing, cooling services, travel and sports‑viewing.
