The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) said on Tuesday it found Anastasiia
Berezovska, a Ukrainian national wanted by Monaco and Interpol over a June 29
bombing in Monaco that targeted businessman Vadim Yermolaev and his family, dead
in Kyiv with a gunshot wound to the head. The SBU said an officer serving in the
Defense Ministry's intelligence branch has confessed, with the assistance of a
former law-enforcement officer, to killing Berezovska; the officer said the act
was personal and was not reported to superiors. The Monaco blast injured three
people, including a child; Interpol had issued a red notice for the 39-year-old
suspect.
