Citigroup says Tencent’s AI agent WorkBuddy has reached about 20.0 mln MAU and over 13.0 mln DAU, with a DAU/MAU ratio of roughly 65–75%. Launched only months ago, Citigroup views the metrics as evidence of strong user stickiness and daily engagement, reflecting Tencent ecosystem strength, productivity-tool synergies and user trust in Tencent’s products and security. Citigroup maintains a Buy rating on Tencent (00700.HK) and keeps its PT at HK$763.

The 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference and high-level global AI governance meeting will be held in Shanghai July 17–20. Organizers said at a July 7 press briefing that pre-conference activities have driven deployment of 57 core industry scenarios and produced 16.2 bln yuan of intended cooperation. A capital-matching zone has linked more than 10 investment firms and roughly 200 professional investors.
