July 7 — China’s National Radio Office convened a nationwide 2026 radio-management priorities meeting in Hefei. Framed within the 15th Five-Year Plan period, the office directed regulators to strengthen electromagnetic-space security risk prevention and response, improve spectrum allocation, development and utilization efficiency and effectiveness, deepen international exchanges and cooperation, and accelerate enhancement of radio-management capabilities.

July 7 — Reports circulated on WeChat Moments that Fumin Bank had relisted 3‑ and 5‑year term deposits. The bank's WeChat mini‑program was reported to show the two products on sale with annualized rates of 2.15% (3‑yr) and 2.05% (5‑yr). The mini‑program deposit section, however, shows 2‑, 3‑ and 5‑year fixed‑term products as off‑shelf. Fumin Bank customer service said the products are off‑shelf for all customers and have not resumed sales.

U.S. chip stocks weakened in pre-market trading: SanDisk (SNDK.O) and Micron Technology (MU.O) fell more than 5%, Western Digital (WDC.O) fell over 6%, and AMD (AMD.O) fell about 4%.
