Multiple supply-chain sources say Apple’s first foldable will enter mass-production soon. Lens Technology (300433.SZ) will supply the UTG ultra‑thin flexible glass cover and other structural components (glass support plates, PET film, 3D glass cover) for the device. Final assembly is slated to be handled by Foxconn, which has begun production ramp preparations and is recruiting temporaries at 22–26 yuan/hour for a July–October three‑month ramp. Foxconn is also hiring permanent line workers with probation pay of 2,600 yuan and confirmed pay of 2,950 yuan plus overtime, performance and night allowances; temporary hires require no medical exam and can start immediately.
