On the 4th, Russia said Ukrainian President Zelenskiy earlier suggested that if
the Donetsk city of Konstantinovka were under Russian control, President Putin
could meet him there. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Konstantinovka is now
fully under Russian control and that Moscow welcomes Zelenskiy’s stated
willingness to come to Russia. Peskov added that if Zelenskiy is prepared to
make a "major and responsible decision," he may travel to Moscow, noting
Russia’s capital is Moscow rather than Konstantinovka. Putin has previously said
on multiple occasions he is willing to meet Zelenskiy in Moscow.
