China's State Council issued the Beautiful China Construction 15th Five-Year
Plan, prioritizing green consumption and low-carbon lifestyles. It mandates
upgrading green product certification and labeling, launching campaigns to
promote new-energy vehicles, green smart household appliances and green building
materials in rural areas, encouraging EV charging with renewable power and
residential green-power retail packages, expanding the scope and scale of
government green procurement, strengthening green consumption incentives, and
accelerating urban public transit, active-travel networks and other green
mobility infrastructure.
