New Fed chair Kevin Walsh's first-week calendar was largely internal, with
limited external engagements: a breakfast with Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent
and meetings with former Fed governor Stephen Milan and Brookings' Nellie Liang.
By contrast, former chair Jerome Powell's end-of-tenure schedule featured
heavier outreach to global central bankers and Wall Street executives, including
Goldman CEO David Solomon and the UBS chair. The Fed posts the chair's schedule
monthly on its website.
