SFC’s 2025 Asset and Wealth Management Activities Survey showed Hong Kong total AUM rose 20% y/y to a record HKD 42.2 tln (USD 5.4 tln), surpassing the 2021 peak of HKD 35.5 tln (USD 4.6 tln). Net inflows jumped 193% y/y to HKD 2.1 tln (USD 265 bln), the third consecutive year of inflow growth. Asset management and fund advisory AUM rose 19% y/y to HKD 31.0 tln (USD 4.0 tln); private banking and private wealth AUM increased 24% y/y to HKD 12.9 tln (USD 1.7 tln).
