At 07:46 Beijing time on July 2, 2026, China launched the Haiyang-2E ocean-observation satellite from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center on a Long March 4B rocket; the satellite reached its planned orbit and the mission was declared successful. The launch was the Long March family’s 654th flight.
