Hainan Provincial Meteorological Bureau issued a typhoon Level‑4 warning at 09:30 on July 1; the provincial disaster prevention and relief committee activated a Level‑4 flood and wind emergency response at 10:00 on July 1. Hainan is expected to experience strong winds and heavy rain from July 1–4, moving east to west across the island.
