Village People said on its official social media page that lead singer Victor Willis has died at age 74. Willis, co-writer and lead vocalist on hits including YMCA, left the group in 1980 and rejoined in 2017; he performed YMCA at a pre-inauguration rally for U.S. President Trump in January 2025.
