June 30 — Tesla began rolling out FSD V14 Lite to HW3 vehicles, initially to
early-access program users with a wider rollout planned over coming weeks. Tesla
China customer service said driver-assist upgrades are currently compatible only
with AI4 hardware (HW4): AI4-equipped Model S, Model X, 2020–2024 Model Y and
some current Model 3 units have been enabled; current Model Y and Model YL are
not yet supported. Tesla said it is preparing related software work in line with
recent national regulations. Although overseas HW3 cars have started receiving
FSD V14 Lite, Tesla has not confirmed whether China HW3 vehicles will receive
the same upgrade.
