According to Fed and ECB schedules, at 21:00 Beijing time Fed chair Kevin Warsh will speak on a policy panel at the ECB-hosted Global Central Bank Forum alongside ECB president Lagarde, Bank of England governor Bailey and Bank of Canada governor Macklem. Market participants should watch for policy cues that could affect interest rates, liquidity and H2 asset pricing.

ECB Governing Council member De Marco said the bank can wait for the next round of economic projections before deciding on further tightening, and that the ECB should not rush into another rate hike after the recent fall in oil prices.

XPeng robotics head Mi Liangchuan has recently left the company. CEO He Xiaopeng is personally assuming leadership of the XPeng Robotics Center and its product division. Mi spent about 15 years at NVIDIA with extensive autonomous-driving experience; he joined XPeng in 2021 as senior director of autonomous driving, was promoted to head of enterprise processes in April 2023 and to head of robotics in September 2023. External observers had identified Mi, Chen Jie, Ge Yixiao and Liu Xianming as the four core leaders of XPeng’s robotics team.
