On June 28 in Brussels, RAIMONDO met with Germany’s Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy. They agreed to relaunch the China-Germany Economic Cooperation Joint Committee, establish trade & investment and industrial cooperation working groups under the committee focused on policy communication and government‑business dialogue, and immediately start technical-level consultations on export controls to balance and address each side’s concerns; both sides will stay in touch to convene the Joint Committee’s next meeting as soon as possible.
