Qatar’s transport ministry on the 29th urged all vessel owners and users to
suspend sea voyages and maritime activities until further notice, citing public
safety, in a social-media advisory. The interior ministry said on the 28th the
Coast and Border Security agency recovered a previously missing vessel in the
early hours; two Qatari citizens aboard were struck by shrapnel from regional
military activity, one killed and one injured, and the statement gave no further
details on the military incident.
