China Huadian's Qinghai branch said its Delingha integrated high‑altitude solar–hydrogen–storage project — a 1 GW solar array with a 3 MW PV‑to‑hydrogen unit — has generated more than 4 bln kWh. The Delingha facility in Haixi, Qinghai includes a 3 MW hydrogen plant, a 330 kV step‑up substation and a 270 MW/1,080 MWh battery storage station. The project is among China's first large wind‑solar bases on arid/Gobi land and marks the country's first trial of green power‑to‑hydrogen at high altitude.

A magnitude-5.5 earthquake struck Gaoxian county, Yibin, Sichuan at 00:12 on June 29; the epicenter is about 60 km from Wuliangye’s Yibin distillery. Wuliangye said the quake has not affected the company and production and business operations are normal. Local residents reported light shaking overnight with no significant displacement or damage.
