On the 27th, Israeli national security minister Itamar Ben-Gvir said the
US-mediated Israel-Lebanon framework agreement is "a major mistake" and demanded
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu formally submit the deal to cabinet for a
vote. Ben-Gvir said the Lebanese government will not genuinely disarm Hezbollah
and that only the Israel Defense Forces can do so.
