June 26 — China Rare Earth Group and Hunan Hi‑tech Venture Capital Group signed an equity cooperation agreement in Changsha concerning the Hunan Rare Earth Institute.

On June 26 (local time) Iraq’s oil ministry said OPEC has begun gradually restoring Iraq’s oil production quota to levels before the outbreak of the US‑Israel‑Iran conflict. On June 25 an oil ministry official warned Iraq might consider leaving OPEC if its crude quota was not significantly increased; the ministry later issued a statement denying that Iraq was considering an exit from OPEC.
