Iran’s foreign ministry dismissed US and Israeli positions on Iran’s nuclear program as false and urged Gulf Cooperation Council countries to back a Middle East nuclear-weapon-free zone initiative rather than endorse policies that portray Iran as a threat. The statement said lasting peace and security can only be achieved through regional cooperation free of external interference and condemned characterizing Iran’s defense, missile and drone capabilities as threats.

China's Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Natural Resources and State Taxation Administration jointly issued a notice to further improve collection of mining-rights transfer revenue. For minerals not listed in the List of Mineral Types Charged by Mining‑Rights Transfer Revenue Rate (trial) attached to the Measures for Collection of Mining‑Rights Transfer Revenue (Caizong [2023] No.10), the starting price for mining‑rights transfers will be set at the higher of the assessed value and the market‑benchmark price used to calculate mining‑rights transfer revenue. Starting prices for minerals on the list will continue to follow current rules.
