China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) says Jan-May
telecom services revenue totaled 735.5 bln yuan, down 1.9% YoY. Telecom services
volume at constant prices rose 7.9% YoY. Cumulative mobile internet traffic
Jan-May reached 181.2 bln GB, up 17.9% YoY. Mobile internet users were 1.634 bln
at end-May, a net increase of 24.12 mln vs end of last year. May monthly data
usage per user (DOU) was 24.01 GB, up 12.7% YoY and 0.97 GB higher than at
end‑of‑last‑year.
