Midea Group said on June 25 at a roadshow it began building a Shunde liquid‑cooling smart manufacturing base in March 2026, with total investment exceeding CNY1 billion. The facility will scale production of core products including natural‑cooling magnetic‑levitation chillers and CDUs, create an end‑to‑end R&D‑to‑delivery liquid‑cooling capability, and is scheduled to start operations in August 2027 to achieve in‑house mass production of liquid‑cooling core components.

JP Morgan will open a Hamburg office and move in around August or September, extending its wealth-management presence across Germany. Post-Brexit the bank established its European hub in Frankfurt; it also runs a local retail bank in Berlin and opened a private-banking branch in Munich last year. Over the past 2.5 years JP Morgan’s private-banking adviser headcount in Germany has doubled to a healthy double-digit level.

On June 24 Peking University and Moore Threads signed an agreement to establish the Peking University–Moore Threads Intelligent Graphics and Simulation Joint Laboratory. The lab will focus on core technologies including graphics rendering, physical simulation, spatial intelligence, 3D Gaussian reconstruction (3DGS) and embodied intelligence; it will support basic science research and pursue hardware‑software integrated collaboration to drive full‑stack performance optimization from chips to applications, building a domestic technology base for spatial and embodied intelligence industries.
