According to data from a UN shipping agency, 57 vessels transited the Strait of Hormuz under a UN evacuation plan between June 23 and June 25.

Bahrain's foreign minister welcomed Oman's announcement to provide a safe passage corridor for vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) navy said on social media on the 25th that vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz must coordinate with the IRGC navy and that non‑compliant ships “will be dealt with.” It said some agencies hours earlier had announced new transit routes without Iranian coordination, calling those routes unacceptable and extremely dangerous. The IRGC navy warned transit is permitted only via Iran‑published routes and that navigation outside those routes is prohibited and extremely dangerous.
