The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said on the 24th it has
ended public-health response to a hantavirus exposure linked to the Hondius
cruise ship and that no confirmed cases were identified in the U.S. In May, 18
U.S. passengers potentially exposed on the Hondius were evacuated and sent to
Nebraska Medicine for 42 days of health monitoring; all completed monitoring and
were not infected.
